HOW TO MAKE A NEW HABIT

 The New Habit

If one says 'How long does it take to make a new habit?. Everyone has a different answer to it, some says it took weeks, months, and even for some it's years.

According to the Psychologist's to make an optimistic habit it took only 21 days or 3 weeks, which is not much time for maximum of the people here. The optimistic habits are the habits which we want to add in our daily routin like, doing exercise, walkup early in morning, and many more, which improves our daily life quality. And by fact, most of the people in the world are involved in optimistic habit.

Philip Andrew in his book "THE NEW HABIT" says, it would took a second or a couple of years to make a habit, He says the psychologists said 'our habit is directly or indirectly dependent on the emotion that we attach to that habit, and that emotion determines how long it would take to make or break a habit.

Let us take an example: when we were childhood we may have ever touched a hot pan, then we attach an emotion of fear of getting burnt to that experience.after then we never go near to objects like this and thus make a habit.

Emotions are a very much needed to make/break a habit. we must attach an emotion to our habit we want to adopt like benifits of that habit etc.

Now, when this is done, we are ready to make a habit by following these steps:

1.MAKE A DECISION: Decide clearly that you are going to begin acting in specific way 100% of your time, whenever that behavior is needed.

2.NEVER ALLOW AN EXCEPTION TO YOUR HABIT: At the formative stage don't make excuses. Don't let yourself of the hook, decipline yourself to the habit everyday until it becomes automatic.

3.TELL OTHERS YOU ARE PRACTICING A NEW BEHAVIOR: It makes you feel others are watching you and gives you the will power to finish this task.

4.VISUALISE YOUR NEW HABIT: Imagin yourself acting as you have this new habit, the more rapidly this new behaviour is accepted by your subconscious mind and became automatic.

5.CREAT AN AFFIRMATION; Creat an affirmation(phrase/sentence) that you repeat to yourself, and it dramatically increases the speed at which u develop a habit.

6.RESOLVE THE PERSIST: Resolve the problems you face while in course of your new habit until you feel comfotable in new habit.

7.REWARD YOURSELF: Give youself a reward as you follow your new behaviour. It can be reward of any kind like your favorite desert, or anything you like.

NASA’s Quest to Touch the Sun

NASA’s Quest to Touch the Sun The outer layers of the sun’s atmosphere are a blistering million degrees hotter than its surface. NASA sent a probe to find out why—by getting closer to the star than ever before. Taken from Wallper Den. THE ORIGINAL VERSION   of   this story   appeared in   Quanta Magazine . Our  sun  is the best-observed star in the entire universe. We see its light every day. For centuries, scientists have tracked the dark spots dappling its radiant face, while in recent decades, telescopes in space and on Earth have scrutinized sunbeams in wavelengths spanning the electromagnetic spectrum. Experiments have also sniffed the sun’s atmosphere, captured puffs of the  solar wind , collected solar neutrinos and high-energy particles, and mapped our star’s magnetic field—or tried to, since we have yet to really observe the polar regions that are key to learning about the sun’s inner magnetic structure. For all that scrutiny, however,  o...
